Finally I'm the boss.

It's official,
a) Office Heroes is the worlds most boring app game
b) I'm stubborn and wanted to become boss.

Level 40 is where the boss is at,
he is called the Office Ninja.
At level 39 I'm a superstar.
Now, at level 40,
I've deleted the stupid fucking boring game.

Love me like a reptile.

I had a dream last night
that I was at a Motörhead gig.
Rock on.
They had a tiny stage,
and I was in a room back stage.
It was an odd show, where most
of the audience couldn't see the band.
Then later, in the wee hours,
I needed one, which was in a children's
soft play area, and a woman's baby fell over the edge
and I caught it by it's leg.

Weird dream.
Just remembered that it was
probably because I saw my Motörhead shirt
that day and I thought that it was too Top Shop cool
to be worn in public, then I thought that no matter,
I was in Australia and it has British dates on the back.
Then again I'm 30, not 40.
I'd still get laughed at.

Glad I saw them in Portsmouth last year.

***************************************
I think I've just fucked my
chances at a future contract
extension at work.

No matter, I keep thinking
I'm going to be saved.

I don't know
call it
woman's intuition.

Oh I have to be in a meeting.
Ta-raa.

Interjection from the 6th Jan 11.
I recently was invited by my friend G to
watch Reverend Horton Heat,
well fart about backstage really.
The Rev have toured with Motorhead,
and told a funny story about how much
Lemmy drinks and how his lifestyle
of drugs and alcohol and rock n' roll
are keeping him alive and as soon as he tries to quit
he'll die from shock of lack of above.
Anyway Reverend Horton said that he tried
to keep up with Lemmy one night
and ended up having his wife take him to A & E.
Sometimes I feel I'm 7 degrees of separation away from
being an it girl.

Luckily that 7 degrees is in fact 7 degrees.
(I don't want to be an it girl).
I want to remain in the audience and clap.

Reading, Writing and Selling.

I've read 4 books already this month,
normally I struggle, put them down,
forget, start others, put them down,
forget.
But now I'm devouring them.

West Coast - Kate Muir
Jake's thing - Kingsley Amis
Monster love - Carol Topolski
I think there's something wrong with me - Nigel Smith.

Next it'll be a whole bunch,
that I'll pretend to read
on Landscape architecture
for school.

I just sold a bike on Gumtree,
yay, Angus (if you even know about this
blog,) I'll post you the $120
just as soon as I've copied the photo booth photos,
gah, my to do list is getting shorter I guess.
I actually sold it for $150 but
she had no change
and my purse was in the house
so I just told her to take it for $140.
Cos I'm a lovely person.
Problem solved.
Easy.
Easier than selling that crap wireless router.
That, took 10 months to sell.

And now I have $20 for beer money.
I need to make a move.

Oh and I'm writing a book.
More on that later.
I have 3 draft pages so far,
which is a lot more than I ever got
with the last 5 or so books I was going
to write.

Christmas time. Slayer and Lights. Santa's Evil. Gifties and Wine.

Normally I hate Christmas lights,
and Slayer,
but I can dig this!

Sunday, 5 December 2010

One step forward, three steps back.

That old feeling is creeping back
into my mind,
should I stay or should I go?

Yep,
I'm there again.

Saturday, 4 December 2010

Come up and see me, make me smile.

At work tonight:
'who is that old guy in the other van?'
'J'
'he said that you never smile'

I didn't know that, I thought I often did.

My kind of boss told me I seemed quite flat lately.
That I did know. I just said yes I am.

I'm going through yet another friendship
break up, his choice, but also mine.
I don't like rules in a friendship.
I don't like anger and bitterness.
And I certainly don't like being told I have no loyalty,

Don't tell me who I prefer to hang out with.
Especially when I helped you to not get beaten up.
I'm a peacemaker, but I don't have enough fight left
In me to heed your ruthless disposal of friends.

Least I can be bored at lunch time now.

Moving house - again.

Lets see now...
In the past 10 years I've moved 6 times,
this will be my 7th.
In my life I've moved 15 times,
that's an average of 1 place every 2 years.
Not including temporary places.

Kitty has moved 5 times in 8 years,
not including temporary places.

Nonetheless I'm looking forward to moving
again.

From now on, you must call me...

Atsuko Tanaka...

Watashi no Atsuko Tanaka desu.

So, I decided that my new Japanese name would be Atsuko Tanaka.

Then, I decided to google myself.
(Sorry for you grammar purists for changing a noun into a verb).

and, here's Atsuko Tanaka how cool!

Let's just settle it now, things get nasty otherwise.

Yesterday S gave me a gift,
my love of Jeffrey Brown comics and cats.
Yay, it's not even my birthday.

 Need more kitty?
Cute boys with cats.

Vege samosas are quite messy to eat.

I just said to S that I wished
my vege samosa triangle had more corners.

The title is a quote from Jill in Nighty Night.
That woman gives me nightmares.

Kitty paddle.

Will try to attempt to film my cat in the bath,
on the next sunny day.

It'll be a horror film!

How can I not go to work drinks.

Got invited to work drinks,
but am a bit broke,
bit sullen,
besides,
I need to get fabric to dye for school
and I'm working at donuts all weekend.

Told the girls,
who discussed my declination..
(I hope declination, is a word because I've used it a lot this year).

k: "ugh!  do you know Jett is abandoning us in favour of lincraft?  how lame!"

h: "actually i support her in that endeavour."

k: "over hanging out with us?!"

h: "well she's dyeing."

k: "she is NOT.  she's just over-reacting.  she was supposedly dying this morning and she's totally fine."

h: "no seriously, she's dyeing.  she needs to go get the dyes today."

k [pause, looks confused]: "...what?  oh you mean DYE-ing.  oh.  well, that's still not a good enough excuse."

P.S. am totally dying.
