on the poor side tonight.
I just watched a my first lecture.
There was a little bit about child experiments...
the evil kind.
They asked kids to click this clicker thing,
whilst putting together a sentence made up from 2 words.
The girl had "Seaweed" and "Fish".
She clicked away whilst thinking and came up with
"The fish thought the seaweed was another fish".
The boy's words were "Athlete" and "Toothbrush".
He clicked away, stopping to think, click, stop, click, stop.
ticking away...
"um-The athlete brushed with the toothbrush -oh".
Not quite so clever, and stopped clicking to think.
This only proves that girls can not only
think and do things at the same time,
but they are smarter.
hee. hee.
Luckily no one reads this,
or really cares that much to get mad at me for being
so sexist.
The facts were there!
Perhaps its why M needs a few months of
not clicking, so his mind can tick.
Anyway it had no solutions to the lack of concerntration,
I seem to be having on reading text books tonight.

I thought I'd put up these pics,
this way I can email the people in the pictures
and tell them they're here.
This was my leaving party at work.
I miss my old university,
my new one lacks a little substance.

I also liked a bit I read about another
evil child experiment...
Reading to your child in the womb.
If you read aloud to your child certain books,
or genres after they are born they are more likely to be
content to hear those stories again,
rather then stories they'd never heard before.
Perhaps playing classical music, reading sonnets
and the oxford english dictionary aloud might
make them a genius, or really annoying,
best read them satire too.
How great are
smart and funny
people.
Even greater when they're a tiny bit lonely too.
I wonder if my mother ever read aloud to me?
