Dear Significant Self,
By the time you read this,
I will have already thought of
a million reasons,
why this will be a waste of time.
Stop feeling sorry for yourself,
you're here and that matters,
for some unknown reason,
here and staying aparently.
Yes everything is a waste of time,
yes we all die in the end,
yes the whole world is living a pointless
existence,
look around you,
sitting on the 467,
everyone doing their thing,
no point to it,
not one single bit,
but save heartache
to loved ones,
you're here and
you need to do your thing too.
Possibly 35 more years left,
if you're lucky.
Enjoy them.
Worse to end up thoughtless,
than memoryfull.
